Post Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Program

The Post-Baccalaureate teacher certification program provides a comprehensive program consisting of coursework, portfolio, and classroom experience that lead to initial teacher certification.   Program content includes child and adolescent development, exceptionality and learning; instructional methods; and creating social contexts for learning.  Prior to certification, students must demonstrate competency to teach via a fourteen week full-time student teaching experience in an approved public school setting.
