Post Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Program
The Teaching Academy program provides a part-time comprehensive program consisting of coursework, portfolio, and classroom experience that will lead to initial teaching certification in NH. It is designed to be delivered over the course of one year, beginning in the summer. The content includes child and adolescent development, exceptionality and learning; instructional methods; and creating social contexts for learning. Students develop a portfolio to demonstrate the ability to meet the NH State Standards of teacher certification. Students are responsible for addressing each standard and attaching an artifact to substantiate their knowledge.
